― Chris V. (Chris V), Wednesday, 20 August 2003 15:48 (twenty-three years ago)

I find pumpkins kinda sinister. Cool pics thou.

Reminds me of a Rein Sanction video, where this kid is smashing up a scarecrow.

― jel -- (jel), Wednesday, 20 August 2003 15:49 (twenty-three years ago)

― RJG (RJG), Wednesday, 20 August 2003 15:52 (twenty-three years ago)

I suppose massachusetts is known for its abudance of dougnuts.

― Chris V. (Chris V), Wednesday, 20 August 2003 15:53 (twenty-three years ago)

I guess we have Doug to thank for that.

― nickalicious (nickalicious), Wednesday, 20 August 2003 15:58 (twenty-three years ago)

(When I was in Massachusetts most recently, me and my sister played "Count the Dunkin Donutses" on the train from Salem to Boston every day. My highest count = 23; from only one side of the train!

Plus we were there for my uncle's wedding, and we were meeting his new wife's family, and one of her uncles turned out to be the owner of the Dunkin Donuts franchise! WOAH!)

― nickalicious (nickalicious), Wednesday, 20 August 2003 16:02 (twenty-three years ago)

Was her Uncle an Andrade?

― Chris V. (Chris V), Wednesday, 20 August 2003 16:10 (twenty-three years ago)

it could be anywhere in new england outside of a major city. this display is rather tame compared to some of the december christmas lights etc. productions. think tim burton meets the east coast

― teeny (teeny), Thursday, 21 August 2003 14:10 (twenty-three years ago)

(for real, actually)

― teeny (teeny), Thursday, 21 August 2003 14:10 (twenty-three years ago)

cider donuts num num

― kephm, Thursday, 21 August 2003 14:12 (twenty-three years ago)

1 doug
2 nuts
1 cup flour
1 cup apples
Combine flour and apples in bowl. Have Doug dip his nuts in it.

Seriously though, I don't make them. I bought them at this apple picking farm in Massachusetts. Hayrides, apple picking, doug nuts.

― Chris V. (Chris V), Thursday, 21 August 2003 14:21 (twenty-three years ago)

I can't wait to bust out the fall sweaters. Ah, my favorite time of year.

― Chris V. (Chris V), Thursday, 21 August 2003 14:22 (twenty-three years ago)

dounuts are a bit diff to make. one must fry them in a large pan. plus you have to get up at 3am to get a good start on the day.

― kephm, Thursday, 21 August 2003 14:28 (twenty-three years ago)

this is the time of year I miss home the most. Damn you leaves that don't change!
