BOOZE tonight. TIDYING and SHELVES tomorrow. BARBEQUE on Sunday. ARSE ALL on Monday.

Tom (Groke), Friday, 22 August 2003 10:03 (twenty-two years ago)

There are only about ten of us in the office at the moment, and no grown-ups... so we have filled the fridge up with beer and wine and are going to order pizza and get fuX0red tonight on the company's money.

On Sunday I am either going to a barbeque or to get messy Jeff Mills in a Docklands warehouse. Possibly both.

The carnival is clearly not happening from my point of view. I have no plans for Saturday as yet.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Friday, 22 August 2003 10:04 (twenty-two years ago)

No-one can knuckle down to proper work, so we're having a mass clear out in the office chucking rubbish away, and we've ordered pizza - Parma ham and salad leaves, from Strada, mmmmn. So weekend's kind of starting early.

Quiet night in, then lots of household shopping tomorrow, need to go and spend a fortune in Costco. Barbequeue on sunday, so lots of meat marinating will have to go on tomorrow afternoon/evening, and then mon. we're off to Woking to watch the footie.

Vicky (Vicky), Friday, 22 August 2003 10:14 (twenty-two years ago)

Taking out a 25 grand loan and blowing the lot on hairdryers just to see the look on the Argos assistant’s face when I place my order while dressed as Kojak.

Alex K (Alex K), Friday, 22 August 2003 10:18 (twenty-two years ago)

Alan (Alan), Friday, 22 August 2003 10:38 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm not going to Cardiff any more. Saturday will be spent researching potential flats and locations for my imminently-immigrating girlfriend. It's all looking a bit bleak beyond that.

Mark C (Mark C), Friday, 22 August 2003 10:49 (twenty-two years ago)

Off to france tomorrow, forgot ot was Cambridge folk festival which was a bit of a bugger.

Ed (dali), Friday, 22 August 2003 10:53 (twenty-two years ago)

Tonight I'll be seeing a mate and opening a bottle of wine or four. Saturday is football with a karaoke chaser. Sunday I'm having a barbecue. Monday I'm "working from home" ie catching up on sleep.

j0e (j0e), Friday, 22 August 2003 10:55 (twenty-two years ago)

smoke dope on my balcony and groove on the sounds of stupid sunburnt tattooed underclass louts carving each other up with bottles and shouting in Estuarian all thru the nite

dave q, Friday, 22 August 2003 10:55 (twenty-two years ago)

Dave Q makes everything sound romantic.

Nick Southall (Nick Southall), Friday, 22 August 2003 10:59 (twenty-two years ago)

Tomorrow will probably do some clearing out/packing and general move planning, then meeting my friend Sophie in the evening. Sunday going for dinner at parents (will miss pub quiz chiz but never mind). Monday intensive lazing.

Archel (Archel), Friday, 22 August 2003 11:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Driving down to Glastonbury Tor with a metal-detector, some unnderground sonar equipment, a spade and some strong speed and spending the whole weekend digging for the you know what, cos apparently Joe left it there last time he was over this way, and I wouldn’t mind a sippage.

Alex K (Alex K), Friday, 22 August 2003 11:02 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm just trying to recover from this terrible cold, it seems ridiculous to have a cold like this when it's summer.

Larcole (Nicole), Friday, 22 August 2003 11:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Dinner and bouze with pals tonight. Rest of weekend: loafing and enjoying living by seaside.

robster (robster), Friday, 22 August 2003 11:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Best of health to Larcole! As for me, MAIDEN (Iron).

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 22 August 2003 12:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Are you joining them? Did Eddie quit?

Larcole (Nicole), Friday, 22 August 2003 12:05 (twenty-two years ago)

Nicole, that is just naughty ;)

PUB tonight, flyering and finding the sheet music for "something stupid" (NB: Lee and Nancy versh) and pub and possibly max tundra on saturday, sunday BBQ, monday WOKING, tuesday, catch early train north to see mother for two days (oh no! no interweb! oh no!)

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Friday, 22 August 2003 12:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Are you joining them? Did Eddie quit?

Nah, Bruce. The air-raid siren thing had to go.

I am suddenly envisioning Larcole joining the Get-Up Kids headlining at PitchforkFest 04 or something. Just to see WHAT WOULD HAPPEN. ;-)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 22 August 2003 12:26 (twenty-two years ago)

That would be the most amazing experience of my life, all I would need to do is distribute some anthrax with a leaf blower and many of the world's problems would be taken care of.

Larcole (Nicole), Friday, 22 August 2003 12:27 (twenty-two years ago)

Bank holiday comes six times a year! Days of enjoyment to which everyone cheers! Bank holiday comes with a six pack of beer! Then it's back to work...

Press reports indicate that the final words of Chris Ott were, "You can't do this, I need to finish that Bright Eyes review!"

Oh, and cheers to Ally for making the proper reference. :-)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 22 August 2003 12:30 (twenty-two years ago)

tonight is quiet by necessity - tomorrow = soccer am then off to Wycombe for footie followed by dinner in town. Sunday = lie-in, then barbecue (with huge hunks of meat). Then Monday = Woking for footie. I think this may be a busy weekend.

chris (chris), Friday, 22 August 2003 12:31 (twenty-two years ago)

I might go down my local to watch some footy tomorrow - Newcastle - Man U sounds appealing. Sunday, I'm another one going to a barbecue. Mostly otherwise, doing the usual stuff but much more slowly because of the eye trouble.
