the 20's

Does anyone know any shops in Scotland, preferably round about Glasgow or Edinburgh, that sell mens clothes from the 20's? I've decided I'd like my image to be more stylish and want to rock the spats look. Any help will be rewarded with positive vibes instead of cash payment.

Try Starry Starry Night just off Byres Road opposite the underground station. (I think they also have a branch in the Barras in one of the buildings with the antiques and furniture at the London Road end, i.e. not in with all the tacky stalls in the main bit). They do ace vintage stuff.

Thanks a lot, I'm staying in Edinburgh so I'll try Armstrong's first and have a look in Starry Starry night next time I'm through in Glasgow.

*sends the vibes*

Horace-Pardon? 4 more years until what? I'm curious.

I'm 26. So four more years (well, three actually) until the 20s are finito for me.

Ahh. Nearly the same here. My plan is to get really bummed out on my 30th birthday as is tradition.

you get bummed out every time you turn 30?

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Monday, 25 August 2003 15:11 (twenty-two years ago)

I just know a few people who turned 30 and seemed to be bummed out by it. Think it was because they felt that they should be acting more responsibly because they'd left their 20's. Of course the sensible ones realised this didn't need to be.

I don't think there is an apostrophe in "20s".

Another ILX user living in Edinburgh? Who isn't Calum? Wow!

DV- Yeah I think you could be right, curse me and my poor grammar :).
