I need gloves.

It's gonna hit 100 today, so I'm thinking about winter gloves.

I really want some gloves that are like fine wool or maybe cashmere, fine-gauge knit, but that are long like opera gloves. They should fit snug to the wrist but flare out as they go to the elbow so they could fit over sweaters or coatsleeves. I think this is genius from a practical standpoint, as I have long monkey arms and am always losing heat through the gaps at my wrists. It is also obv genius from a fashion standpoint because you can imagine how gorgeous they would be!

I've never seen anything like this, has anyone else? I've already looked through Froogal and Amazon with no luck. Maybe I could knit them myself but really I want too fine of a gauge for handknitting.

Go to Mediaeval Times (the dinner theatre that is) and steal a gauntlet or two.

Maybe they'd be easier to find later on in the season? Long gloves are certainly back, I bet the affordable & practical versions will hit the shops in a few months.

This sounds like a pair of leather elbow-length gardening gloves I saw a couple of years ago and now wish I had bought.
