the venue is the windmill. it is on blenheim gardens, just off brixton hill, maybe 7-8 mins walk from the tube. the ambulance is delightful. come along everybody!

oh hey cb, I glanced through the latest issue of Rip It Up at the supermarket yesterday and mh was at the fore of a photo of SPUD in this article supposedly about neglected classic albums (like, trout mask replica!!) - including "gnaw"! ha! nice photo though

rip it up's still going? is it shit? it used to be good when mh and duane and andrew palmer wrote for it. mh is in berlin at the moment doing a gig with his other band, philosophy queen.

it's even more shit than you cld probably imagine. 'Twas Real Groove that andrew palmer took over and real groove now is okay, more like what RIU used to be. Murray Cammick does a "memories" page thing in it that can be worthwhile.
