This is where someone solves my fashion dilemma

So I have massive credit card bills, not from buying clothes, from going back to school & underestimating expenses. I have to cut back the debts, seriously.
And yet.. my dilemma is.. do I SELL the fab vintage Dior tweed skirt? I could get a good chunk of cash for it if I offloaded it on eBay, certainly.. but it is super stylish so I want to WEAR it now.. but it'd be such a profit 'cause I thrifted it for $7!
Help. :)

Is there any other way you can raise some funds Daria?

Sorry if this was an obvious question?

no, because it would be very hard/expensive/impossible to get it again and you'd always regret it. could you get a bank loan (lower interest rate than credit card rates (in ireland at least)) to pay off the credit card and then gradually reduce a less costly debt?

Is it worth hundreds? Only sell it if it's going to make a real dent in your credit card debts.

Urgent and key - transfer your debts to a card that offers 0% interest on debts transferred to it. If you've done this already, do it again. Remeber to cut up the original card to avoid being tempted to use it again.

Yes, I know. I don't have a problem with buying lots of stuff on credit, it happened because 1) short of loan money due to miscalculating living expenses and above all 2) summer assistantship funding got held up due to bureaucracy so I didn't get paid from late June to late August (I'll have a big check coming soon to make up for it though).

There are plenty of ways for me to raise funds, I've got a little freelance website gig at the moment and have sold/am selling other fashionable things that I don't actually have a great temptation to wear. It's just.. every little bit helps, surely. Oh hell, I'll keep it.

keep it! will be worth a lot more in a couple of years, when you've had your fun with it.
