What is truly Drokk, though, is Kelly's Eye, Kola Commandos and that sci-fi basketball team that seemed to go on for about two years without a plot.
I suspect that there are much better comics you can get for £9 a month, but I wouldn't really know what they are any more. Transmetrapolitan and Hitman are always fun.

In the meantime, until Television Man, or SO23, or R.I.P. or Power Club or Science Stunners or Jack Zero or Angstman or The Revenge Of Wolfie Smith or Buster Fuck or Dirk Punish or Behemoth or Adam-12 or The Inquisition or Go-Machine get six pages in 2000AD, try reading New X-Men, War Story by Garth Ennis, Flowers for Rhino, 100 Bullets, X-Force, Fury...
2000AD stories aren't published in 2000AD anymore. If any company does them, it's Marvel.

It was a wonderful piece of satire, Big Dave being the perfect encapsulation of every jingoistic bigoted tabloid reading bootboy in the country. I sort of lost interest after that, that story was so relevant and so contentious that everything else just paled in comparison.
