I used to think ILX people were special somehow but now I know they're just like any other Londoners on the train

3. If we don't get home soon, we're going to miss Quincy.
this one was patently me

Bob Shaw (Bob Shaw), Wednesday, 27 August 2003 12:35 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh. My new mobile phone. Oh.
The syntax of this one reminded me of ILX.

My favourites:
I don't trust Phil Tufnell. He looks like an evil Stan Laurel.
Madonna raps like Mr Plow.

stevem (blueski), Wednesday, 27 August 2003 12:49 (twenty-two years ago)

heh reminds me of my friend at leytonstone station in the last few weeks "that new coke machine's awful big, there could be a nice little man inside handing out drinks"

Bob Shaw (Bob Shaw), Wednesday, 27 August 2003 13:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Keith Richards is just Keith Chegwin with drugs.
very ilx

10. I saw Chris Kamara singing Gershwin on TV. It was amazing.
does anyone have this on tape?

Bob Shaw (Bob Shaw), Wednesday, 27 August 2003 13:03 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't think it is brilliant, to be honest. I was very disappointed, not because of the mundanity of the majority, but because most of them were intended in some way to be funny or weird or ker-ay-zee. :/

I like:

10. Emotions are basically just maths.
5. Stop! Enough knickerbocker wisecracks!

Archel (Archel), Wednesday, 27 August 2003 13:20 (twenty-two years ago)

And I like the fact that the following were supposedly being said on my birthday:

6. Go to the the family planning place. They'll give you free jimmy hats..
7. He won't care about your tits. He's a leg man.
8. No, it's a shark!

Archel (Archel), Wednesday, 27 August 2003 13:23 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm with Mark C.

And this differs from ILX how exactly?

Matt DC (Matt DC), Wednesday, 27 August 2003 13:27 (twenty-two years ago)

Did I say it differed? But ta for pointing it out :)
