Or, "stupid Fox sitcoms of the network's origin" vs. "trashy Fox reality shows of now." See also: Herman's Head vs Who Wants to Be a Princess/Marry A Millionaire, Whoops vs Temptation Island, etc etc.

Partners was a GREAT sitcom. Jennifer Aniston's first semi-notable ex (& co-star of Love Potion #9 w/ Sandra Bullock!), the lead gal from Godzilla, and Jon Cryer!

Does that count, though? Or should I reference Duet? (You know, the Chris Lemon sitcom...?)

HERMAN'S HEAD!!

I used to have a bit of a thing for "Hedley" from Herman's Head, last seen as Ross's lesbian ex-wife on Friends. Of course, I was probably 14 at the time, and had a bit of thing for just about everyone, including Herman's "feminine side."

I fully intended to sit through Who Wants to be a Princess for the sole purpose of finding out what dipshit provincial principality the "prize" could claim to be "prince" of, but couldn't stomach the lead-up process: I kept feeling like sooner or later, Fox would just go all-out with "Who Wants to be My Ho," in which a pimp would just look over a line of maladjusted women and say, "You, you, and you." Did anyone find out precisely how princely this guy was? Prince of some Austrian village republic that hasn't been recognized since before WWI and is now officially a ski resort?

Didnt Herman's Head have the Lisa Simpson? Or at least the actor who gave the voice to the smartest of the Simpsons.

I nominate Nitsuh for Fox Programming Executive.

'MWC', for its unique contribtion to the lexicon of derogatory English: "pregnoid"

Mr. Noodles: yeah, Yeardley Smith (Lisa) was indeed a cast member.

Oh, well surely that makes him a catch, then. Was he hideously ugly or anything? Because the show itself was proof that an artistocratic title can get you chicks like whiz-bam-pow, which begs the question: why'd he need a show to get a chick?

In light of which, I'm going to start claiming, Coming to America-style, to be some sort of foreign royalty. Ladies, start your engines.

Jon Cryer? Teddy Z - how cool was that? It had Alex Rocco and everything! MWC is groove embodied. Not only was geezer who plays Al Bundy (Ed what?) Waynes World, but Christina Applegate. Oh boy. Ejaculatastic!

(PS. Soft Boys were feckin' amazing tonight!!!)
