Sadly, although Jenny enjoyed her brief career as the sole female member of the Village People, the grocery sack that her contract required her to wear would chafe oftern, and dampen her vocals.

Discouraged, she left the group in 1983 to begin an unsuccessful solo career as "That Dame!" in a serious of off-Broadway musicals.
