First had a problem late last night / early this morning when I tried to post a short thing on AusPishFish in Explorer and it came up with all this crazed Jaza-line-error-shite instead of my edit box. The http://auspiciousfish.blogspot.com address woudln't open properly, but adding the www. worked fine. I opened Blogger in AOL's browser and that was fine, so I posted and left.

Now, however, the Blogger homepage wont even open, let alone anyone's actual blogs. Have they screwed up the implementation of this new 'Dana' interface (or whatever it's called)? I'm slightly pissed, as I imagine lots of other people are if this is a universal thing.

In scary related news, http://auspiciousfish.blogpsot.com takes you to a very weird Christian site. Why is this?

Ooh, I like a bit of spiritual warfare. I love insanely-paranoid Christians.

(presumbly that site bought up piles of domain names which are common misspellings of popular websites, to take advantage of people's typos)

I had a random redirection from Blogger to my site the other day as well, it took me to some Hollywood gossip blog.

Ive also noticed blogger is playing up, though mines located on my own webserver so no probs with my page itself, but yeah cant access blogger.com. DNS looks ok, I mean the domain itself is in DNS, and I can ping the IP of new.blogger.com, so maybe its some other kind of server issue.

The xian site thing is just because of a typo tho Nick - you wrote blogpsot.com :)

Oh, which you already knew.. I misread you. Guh.

"Blogger seems to be down".

"Earth revolves around Sun" shock. Usual Blogger disease of if it ain't broke, break it. What Penman said in his Pillbox rant a couple of months ago and double (not that you can actually access Pillbox to read what he said, but those who did read it know anyway & those who didn't can guess pretty accurately).

Anyway, this weekend's CoM writing is ready to go up, so anyone wanting a copy, email me and I'll send you one.

The new one-post at a time Blogger-for-dummies interface is a real fucker for a team blog - makes replying to other people's entries very fiddly.

five years pass...

What's happened to Blogger? My Peerguardian reports that its IP is being blocked with the range "W32.Downadup.Conficker - confickerremover.blogspot.com". Has the entire domain been hacked?
