7 Days In September: anyone see this (and is it too late to matter)?

Thursday night, I'd watched a documentary on A&E called "7 Days in September": 28 filmmakers show their impressions of what happened on 11th September (and for that week after). Though the show flashed many personal memories in my head, I couldn't help wondering:

1) Will this doc matter to anyone but other New Yorkers?
2) Year or so on, have the images begun to fade?
3) Are documentaries like this still considered real life/just plain art?

I caught this on Thursday night, though only in snatches because I kept wandering around the house. It was beautiful and erie. I particularly was impressed with the 'after' coverage which concentrated on the citizens coping with the situation, which was coverage I didn't see much of on the news reports ('cause they were more interested in body counts and tracking down the terrorists and such). I was brought to tears in one spot, where people were screaming at each other in Union Square, and at one point this man, who had been down doing S&R was yelling at a woman who was was not in favor of immediately going after the terrorists ... at some point one of them broke down and said 'Why are we screaming at each other? We're all in shock and acting out of fear' (er, that was a major paraphrase) and then they hugged. The naked emotions were incredibly vivid and compelling and terrifying.

As far as Nichole's questions are concerned:
1) Yeah, I think so.
2) Not for me.
3) I've not a clue.

Ditto for me. It absolutely matters.
