I just want to thank you, all of you, for being. This board has made my life that little bit more interesting. And I'd like to make it known.

Thank you Gareth, for getting me a housemate, and for your insightful posts, posing questions that can have all kinds of responses.
Thank you Tep for your amazing recipes and witty, funny, well written prose.
Thank you Di, Ally, Dee, Jody Beth, MsLaura and Sam (and all the rest of the ILX galz!) for your forthright, kickass attitudes and intelligence, you make me proud to be a woman.
Thank you to the whole Melbourne posse - Jim, Minna, Tim, Mike, Chealiy, Andrew etc - because we are Melbourne and we rock!
Thank you Momus for being a bewildering intellectual who forces me to think different, and pleased to know someone in my record collection is on a board I chat on.
Thank you Ned and Dan for... well, for being Ned and Dan *grin*.
Thank you chaki for your cheeky funny posts.
Thank you googletrolls for your entertaining stupidity.
Thank you slutsky for making me still want to visit Montreal some day (and for never looking at Goldshlager the same way again).
Thank you all the other Aussies (gaz, Colin, et al) for the Pseudo Echo thread alone.
Thank you Ronan for making me giggle.
Thank you RickyT because you have a damn fine taste in music and I wish you DJed in Melbourne clubs.
Thank you Andrew for hosting the server and getting it fixed up so fast when it fell over!

And a special thanks to Jim. For introducing me to ILX, and for simply being a great friend.

I love youse all!

(this post brought to you by a glass of chardonnay)

Trayce (trayce), Sunday, 7 September 2003 10:31 (twenty-one years ago)

I always liked Paul Whitehouse's acceptance speech at the BAFTAs (IIRC) - he went up, picked up the award, paused for a brief moment... then he said "Ta," and marched off back to his table.

Chriddof (Chriddof), Sunday, 7 September 2003 10:34 (twenty-one years ago)

Class! :)

Trayce (trayce), Sunday, 7 September 2003 10:35 (twenty-one years ago)

Bump. I really want other-side-of-world people to see this :) Sorry :)

Trayce (trayce), Sunday, 7 September 2003 12:14 (twenty-one years ago)

Trayce, thanks. Seen it. From the other side. Of the world. Or something.

Btw, Chriddof's Paul Whitehouse recollection reminds me, in a good way, of Fatoby Slim on MTV a coupla years ago.

t\'\'t (t\'\'t), Sunday, 7 September 2003 12:24 (twenty-one years ago)

short speeches is good speeches.

stevem (blueski), Sunday, 7 September 2003 12:41 (twenty-one years ago)

I second trayce's feelings - I've said a few times how much this place means to me, in all kinds of ways/

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Sunday, 7 September 2003 14:22 (twenty-one years ago)

Thanks, Trayce :) And yeah: ILX is good stuff. Sometimes it pretends otherwise, but we know better.

Tep (ktepi), Sunday, 7 September 2003 15:53 (twenty-one years ago)

Thank you tremendously, Trayce. You don't know how much your words have meant to me, especially at this time. *huge hugs*

so, thanks ilx, from me too.

three months pass...
Revive!

Because everyone's being weird and cranky and I am sad and pretty close to not being here for a while, as the arguments are sometimes stressful to read (even if they dont affect me personally).

Remember where it all came from, you big girls blouses :)

*mwah*

Bwahaha.

I am tipsy and reviving this because again, everyone's been a bit tetchy lately and I have to maintain my irritating chirpy persona.

Look upon my works ye mighty and despair!!

Or vom. Either works. This thread wins for BEWILDERBEAST alone.

Trayce (trayce), Sunday, 5 November 2006 09:50 (eighteen years ago)

You mean you've never got drunk and puked on yourself at 2am while on ILX?
