The Great Antonio has died.

From the article:

MONTREAL - The Great Antonio, the Montreal strongman who once pulled four loaded buses and lifted a six-tonne truck, is dead after suffering a heart attack on the weekend.

The Great Antonio was a beloved local eccentric, matched only perhaps by a fellow who calls himself "Guru of All Gods" and the guy who keeps a little menagerie (dogs, cats, rabbits) on a cart he pulls up and down Parc Av., stopping occasionally to play on an electric keyboard.

Who are your local eccentrics?

Oh, I used to see him on Mount Royal St. all the time. That's sad. My friend Mireille told me all about him.

The Singing Cowboy, a fellow with a big smile and a cowboy outfit and a boombox who dances on streetcorners and mimes singing songs. He's totally full of joy. Apparently he used to be a singer but something happened where he lost his vocal cords. Whenever you see him he makes you sad and happy at the same time.

in Ann Arbor, we have Shakey Jake, local eccentric/detuned-bluesman/possible-millionaire:

also, we have Michael Jackson Dancer, a guy who'll bring out a boombox, set it on a street corner or in an alleyway, and just dance dance dance. The Boombox always plays one of MJ's first 3 albums.

I thought he was from Toronto but I guess he's not so local.
Maybe I can find a picture of Bay & Adelade Kevin instead.
