Aww Jody, get it under the cold tap & keep there. Honestly this will minimise any scarring. I got burnt with hot oil from the frying pan the other day & it really killed.

First one for reference, in case you wanna chiggitty check it.

Moving a filing cabinet (empty thank goodness). Dropping filing cabinet on toe. Sandals. Blood. Etc.

opps, that sucks Jody!

I suspect I will make myself lame on Saturday when I go to a free kung-fu lesson :(

I got bounced off of a trampoline by my big-ass brother-in-law, and I landed on my palms, blowing out both elbows (imagine the radiuses, or is it radii, split lengthways along the bone). I wasn't lame as in unable to walk, but I sure felt lame, and it was tough doing a whole bunch of normal stuff with both elbows in casts.

I was dancing at this goth club that had a (thankfully temporary) home in a club fitted out as a stripclub. So its got all the cages and poles and raised stage bits you can dance on.

So there I am shakin my thang to some tune, thinking I'm shit hot, and then the song finished and I went to walk off the raised stage by walking down the small set of stairs in front of it.

Only they weren't where I thought they were in the dark, so I stepped gracefully several feet up into thin air and landed with my entire weight onto one leg which went CRUNCH and then I fell face-first onto the club floor :( Really fucking embarrasing, and I couldnt put weight on my leg for a week.

The best bit was when I went to a doctor several days later and he told me with a sneer I was just making it all up to get a medical certificate (!!!).

I will admit that in high school I decorated a guitar case with "This Machine Kills Fascists". It attracted a lot more attention than I expected and strangers on the street would ask me for an explanation. After getting a few people who didn't even know who Woody Guthrie was, I gave up and took it off.
