i just figured it out ... because neither G*d nor Satan wants to have assholes like strom thurmond or mike love hanging around with them any more than we do. likewise, they like the company of entertaining people ... which is why elvis presley left us so early.

and it means that we're gonna be stuck with dubya for a while yet.
