haha I have a good friend named Fabian and all last week he was cutting news stories about the hurricane and pasting them on his blog, prefacing them with "my wrath and frustration is now accumulating in the Atlantic.."

This is the weekly freakout subject at my work. They need something to take their minds off of their pathetic lives. Just kidding. But geez louise, the coast is like an hour and a half from here. I sure hope everyone at my office has enough bottled water and beef jerky to survive the, uh, rain and mild winds that we're going to suffer. I'm sure they will, because they're tracking the storm on the internet EVERY TEN MINUTES.

That's New Orleans for four to five months of the year, seriously. They sell tracking charts at the pharmacies and give them away a lot of places; there are people who keep them in photograph albums going back forty, fifty years.
