I can't believe you're considering Dallas. Do yourself a favor and don't!

gygax! (gygax!), Tuesday, 16 September 2003 22:11 (twenty-two years ago)

Dallas isn't that bad. I think more ilXors should move to TX.

There's only 15 weeks left in this year? damn. . .

Texas, Biyatch! (thatgirl), Tuesday, 16 September 2003 22:13 (twenty-two years ago)

(Dallas isn't that bad - Certainly true. As per Dallas the band ;)

didn't you hint you were moving to los angeles (against your will) a while ago? did i miss something since?

donut bitch (donut), Tuesday, 16 September 2003 22:23 (twenty-two years ago)

yes, it's a list of all of the potential options at the moment (in order of descending odds as of 09/16/03).

gygax! (gygax!), Tuesday, 16 September 2003 22:35 (twenty-two years ago)

anything you're looking for in particular? Or just cities with big-ass populations?

donut bitch (donut), Tuesday, 16 September 2003 22:39 (twenty-two years ago)

(that came out wrong... i'm asking earnestly, though)

Ethiopia

Curt1s St3ph3ns, Tuesday, 16 September 2003 22:41 (twenty-two years ago)

the odds are all weighted on a loose combination of work/industry, family, friends, and proximity to IN-N-OUT (not necessarily in that order).

gygax! (gygax!), Tuesday, 16 September 2003 22:44 (twenty-two years ago)

curtis,

although i'm sure i would enjoy the fuck out of the kilwa/tibse, i'm not quite sure that's an option (as of today of course).

gygax! (gygax!), Tuesday, 16 September 2003 22:46 (twenty-two years ago)

gyg, would do you do for work (if ya don't mind sharin', that is)?

donut bitch (donut), Tuesday, 16 September 2003 22:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Any places you would die to move to?

Nichole Graham (Nichole Graham), Tuesday, 16 September 2003 22:48 (twenty-two years ago)

but... then he would be dead

donut bitch (donut), Tuesday, 16 September 2003 22:50 (twenty-two years ago)

db,

you can email me if you really want to know--

read as: not necessarily that interesting and i'm positive your mod friends can divulge as much. (i enjoy my privacy/confidentiality esp. in light of some things posted on other threads).

nichole: it's your job to predict the future!

funny enough, my ex-bandmate moved to chapel hill about 3 months ago (well, actually raleigh but still...) i miss him so much... :-(

gygax! (gygax!), Wednesday, 17 September 2003 01:38 (twenty-two years ago)

gyg, the wifey said her manager asked people in her dept if they wanted to move too. i told her i wouldn't go to dallas, (or back to chicago) but we're both kinda hoping they ask her to move to NY.

JasonD (JasonD), Wednesday, 17 September 2003 01:43 (twenty-two years ago)

what is the signifigance of january 1rst? is that when your division crumbles?

JasonD (JasonD), Wednesday, 17 September 2003 01:45 (twenty-two years ago)

01/01/04 is a personal goal i've made for myself (whether i'm working the same job, a new job, unemployed travelling, etc.).

the nyc office is in the 1411 broadway building. i have friends in ABC city who've lived there for 10 years and they might have a (temporary) room for me for cheap, plus it's just a quick trip on the green line.

but then again i talked to your wifey's boss tonight, and i might be staying here anyways. but who knows, really.

gygax! (gygax!), Wednesday, 17 September 2003 02:02 (twenty-two years ago)

cinniblount (James Blount), Thursday, 18 September 2003 21:32 (twenty-two years ago)

nichole: it's your job to predict the future!

I would, but you apparently decided for yourself. San Fran is a great choice, though...and NYC, but I'm biased.

Nichole Graham (Nichole Graham), Thursday, 18 September 2003 21:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Tokyo!

A Girl Named Sam (thatgirl), Thursday, 18 September 2003 21:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Me no money falls? Why?!

Chris P (Chris P), Thursday, 18 September 2003 21:48 (twenty-two years ago)

Internationally: Rio, baby!

Nichole Graham (Nichole Graham), Thursday, 18 September 2003 21:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Blount: it's where i spend my holidays
Nichole: SF is not only a great choice, but cheapest moving expenses (ie, none). wrt: Brasil; I think my lifestyle is suited better for Buenos Aires, but that move may not be just yet.
Sam: my heart says "toki doki" but the job market is a little challenging... increased cost of living and i've not seen any jobs i'm qualified for with a comparable increase. but the things you do for love...
Chris P: it's the longest shot on there for good reason.

gygax! (gygax!), Thursday, 18 September 2003 22:22 (twenty-two years ago)

let's talk about william shatner instead, thanks.

gygax! (gygax!), Thursday, 18 September 2003 22:39 (twenty-two years ago)

adaml (adaml), Friday, 19 September 2003 15:57 (twenty-two years ago)

three weeks pass...
i'm predicting after what happened yesterday that you'll be in SF

JasonD (JasonD), Thursday, 16 October 2003 19:19 (twenty-two years ago)

you are mostly correct, although i'm predicting that i will be in chicago or dallas 10 weeks out of the year, but i will know more on monday. new york is totally out of the picture.

gygax! (gygax!), Thursday, 16 October 2003 19:52 (twenty-two years ago)

lauren (laurenp), Thursday, 16 October 2003 19:57 (twenty-two years ago)

gygax! (gygax!), Thursday, 16 October 2003 20:05 (twenty-two years ago)

What happened yesterday?

Chris P (Chris P), Thursday, 16 October 2003 20:11 (twenty-two years ago)

I challenged JasonD to a nude fistfight over hot coals because he challenged my masculinity.

gygax! (gygax!), Thursday, 16 October 2003 20:17 (twenty-two years ago)

are you? i dunno if i'm coming out to sf with the boyz... are you coming out here?

lauren (laurenp), Thursday, 16 October 2003 20:22 (twenty-two years ago)

gygax! (gygax!), Friday, 17 October 2003 18:13 (twenty-two years ago)

lauren (laurenp), Friday, 17 October 2003 18:14 (twenty-two years ago)

JetBlue is non-stop too.

gygax! (gygax!), Friday, 17 October 2003 22:15 (twenty-two years ago)

I know. And she's got all the indie-rock gossip. It's bordering on the libellous.

adaml (adaml), Friday, 17 October 2003 22:16 (twenty-two years ago)

*sniff* I guess I don't get invited to go this time.

hstencil, Friday, 17 October 2003 22:21 (twenty-two years ago)

lauren (laurenp), Saturday, 18 October 2003 03:38 (twenty-two years ago)

since when did I not return your calls?

hstencil, Saturday, 18 October 2003 15:45 (twenty-two years ago)

i think i called you earlier this week and you never called back, you rotten bastard. but maybe i didn't actually call you, i just thought about it.
whatever, don't pay attention to me. i felt like being dramatic. you know you're welcome to come with me anywhere anytime. like for instance, you'd be welcome to come see people of the north with me tonight!

lauren (laurenp), Saturday, 18 October 2003 17:08 (twenty-two years ago)

two months pass...
okay, i'm still here (briefly) but i've got separate trips to chicago, milwaukee, and nyc all this month.

gygax! (gygax!), Monday, 5 January 2004 06:12 (twenty-one years ago)
