Posting images onto my blog

I want to post a photo onto my blog, but Blogger's instructions (for people with free blogging service, not ftp) say any images have to be stored online elsewhere. The photo in question isn't already on the net, so can anyone suggest how I can work it - are there any free hosting services for images?

Type "free image hosting" into google - unfortunately they're all temporary I think.

Well if you have an internet account, you can use the webspace they give, no?

a) who says the original poster has an internet account?
b) not all accounts come with free webspace.

Not only can I not see it, opening this page causes IE to "helpfully" try and register me for a Passport.

Reviving because Photobucket looks like it could be useful for a lot of folks. It's free, there's a 100MB of storage, and the max bandwidth is 2.5GB/month.
