i just remembered that last Halloween i took two large pieces of cardboard, drew on them the Photoshop logo, made one of those sandwich type things w/them (you know one in front, one in back, two pieces of string over your shoulders connecting the two) and wore an eye patch.

International Talk Like a Pirate Day is a parodic holiday invented in 1995 by two Americans, John Baur ("Ol' Chum Bucket") and Mark Summers ("Cap'n Slappy"), who proclaimed September 19 each year as the day when everyone in the world should talk like pirates. I feel sad because I can't get enthusiastic about this at all this year. I'm against hating fun, but I think I'm just all pirated out. The huge skull & crossbones flag next to my desk might have something to do with this (it's not mine, it belongs to the guy behind me).
