These days Swedish media is largeley occupied by the hunt for the guy who murdered our foreign minister a couple of weeks ago. Last week a man was arrested and since then his life and whereabouts have been scrutinized in detail by the tabloids. While eagerly awaiting the results of the DNA analysis the tabloids have seen it fit to inform the public of, among other things, the supposed killer's musical preferences:

* His favourite bands are New Order and Manic Street Preachers
* The night before he was arrested he spent the night at an all-Morrissey club singing along to every Smiths tune
* Last week he went to see Tindersticks play live

I don't really know what I want to say with all this, it just seems really absurd.

Do you know of any other murderers with good taste in music?

Have you ever felt the urge to go and stabb someone famous after overdosing on Tindersticks?

So - change of topic - what band would you actually stand hearing on loud volume for 6 hours? And what band would drive you mad after just half an hour?

I think I could stand 6 hours of Go-Betweens.

Ludus and Stockholm Monsters and some Èl records stuff makes me sweaty and feverish after just one song so I'd probably be chewing on my own arm or something after a couple of hours.
