I'm Moving out to the Country.............

A undisclosed writer friend is lending me his house in the country for me to finish my book. No internet, no television and only a cafe called "Talkback". And after that I am moving overseas.

Any parting thoughts of hatred before I go into the abyss? ; - )

i doubt we will evah agree on much if anything (except how hot sean is) but i have genuinely never hated you (for very long ahem) and i certainly do not now. i am sorry we did not get to hug. er, sort of.

The "Mark" (Oh ho ho ho) of a good writer is a massive ego which we both possess. I never hated you (for long) and was (as you probably were) but the fight war (which made for good reading plus time wasting)...

Thanks about the book. I've been blocked for the past four-five months with it and it's coming on strong like a friend. I quit my job and am getting on with it!!!

I'm excited. The solitude will be good for me. Right now, it's about finishing it up. Last night wrote for ten hours straight and completed an outstanding project (I had been writing an underground comic with a truly talented artist). Very funny stuff, a girlie comic from the sixties "The Amazing Girl"....but now the book is calling me.

Doompatrol....Doompatrol....Doompatrol.....

The house sitting situation is ideal and was accidental. I think I need a month of straight solitude and then met up with my fantastic Sophie who is doing her own fabulous thang.

I am an obsessive, so it's good, that I will be breaking from various egroups/message board obsessions that I had developed during my writer's block. Need to focus......!!!!!! And need my internet obsessions to end!!!!

The Amazing Girl, the girl who draws it is thinking of putting it online. It is v. funny. A tribute to the Lois Lane comics of the sixties i.e. "Lois...you have to take the eyes of a serial killer"...."Lois marries Satan to make Superman jealous"....etc..etc..

And then you can have a go at my writing when you see the concentrate efforts!!!

It's a big house in Muskoka country. Very big.

Food already supplied. Cafe close by: talk back cafe.

My ride is coming in twenty minutes. Whatever you thought of me, at least, it was interesting. Which is a pretty damn good thing to have in these mad times.
