it was a good game, unless you live on the East Coast and have to get up for any reason tomorrow (fortunately, I don't have to). That said, it's only the second day of the playoffs - additional memorable moments are sure to come (esp. when the Yankees are eliminated). (Personally, I liked seeing the Marlins show some life today - sorry gygax!.)

As if they didn't go out and overbid every other team for their precious, can't-ever-stay-healthy "Pedro". Well you know what? Screw the Red Sox, screw Theo frickin' Epstein, screw Johnny Damon and his .250 batting average, screw the lot of the overpaid bums and has-beens!!! You fucking New Englanders already had your damn Patriots Super Bowl, so you're just going to have SUFFER another Red Sox defeat again this year!!!!!

Personally, I liked seeing the Marlins show some life today - sorry gygax!.

Not sure if Marlins were showing "life" so much as Giants were showing "death". The Giants beat themselves (with help from Alou sealing the fate with some extremely uncharacteristic "Dusty-esque" moves late in the game).
