A kind of classic or dud question, I guess. More a statement: I really like posting and reading ILX on the weekend. How about you?

I haven't really done it much before. I like it. It's quieter and more managable. But I'm not going to make a habit of it. I'm just trying to use up all my remaining time at the web cafe now I have a NEW JOB!!!

Oh heavens no, not straight to Ireland. I arrive midday next Saturday but don't go to Ireland until the following Monday. That leaves a couple of days to help me fight off my jet lag. :-)

I'm trying to make a habit of having my morning coffee, watching football and fixing the code on ILX at least one morning of the weekend. As Andrew's logs would indicate I'm much more likely to stay in bed and snuggle.

i like ilx on the weekends!! on weekdays i tend to look at new answers and just be like, no, fuck off, but on weekends i have more time to actually read the threads and stuff, and post new ones

I think the weekends on ILX are a bit flat but maybe it's just more fun when the alternative is working (during the week) rather than having a life (at the weekend).

I used to get annoyed bcz I can't post or barely read ILX at work and then the weekends were always so slow and certain folks who only generally post from work are never around. Now I don't spend six hours a day here it doesn't annoy me anymore, I like the weekends, this is giving me something to do while I rip 1100+ CDs into iTunes and hang around in my boxers waiting for my turn in the shower.

well jelado i'd love for it to happen but i suppose it hinges on various factors such as how many other people fancy it, how knackered Ned is from the flight, what's a good mutual venue for everyone to get to etc. - but i think a thread may be necessary. if nothing else there should def. be an FAP of sorts next Saturday

To answer you, Jel: I'm rarely on ILX on the weekends, actually. I have to remind myself there is life beyond being with you mentalists! Monday - Thursday (7 hrs/day) is enough for me:>

oh, I guess if I hadn't banned myself from using ILX at work, I wouldn't like the weekend so much. Though, I think I've always preferred ILX:Weekend to ILX:Weekday. Actually, I've cut down my weekday ILX time a lot recently.

We've got some wine in our liquor cabinet. You guys are more than welcome to help yourselves to it seeing as though I'm not going to touch any of it.

As for doing anything on the ILXiverse or the Internet in general on the weekend, I find it a heck of a lot easier than dealing with it throughout the week because I have more free time during the weekend. Plus, it's easier for me to go through things quickly because I've had adequate sleep (!) and can actually think at full capacity. Yay!
