The new entry into the crowded "things you can buy next to the cash register" market is oats & caramel & peanuts covered with chocolate, and immediately raises the suspicion that it's a dumping ground for Snickers That Go Wrong. A separate conveyor belt coming out of the quality control machine melts the defective bars down, adds some oats, and voila! A flapjack is born.
