Drains.

They're cleaning the drains at the library. No one told us. The stench is violently putrid. Urgh. It's now permeating all floors after starting off in the basement.

Other drain-related horror stories, please.

We have to drain the filter on our washing machine before we use it. The smell of stagnant water is quite repulsive when it fills the kitchen! (or anywhere else for that matter!)
