I didn't think I'd ever had a crush on a real life Robert (apart from the aforementioned Robbie Williams) but on reflection I realise I did have a crush on someone called Bob about 10 years ago. I had lusted after him for several weeks, and hooked up with him eventually after a very drunken night out with a crowd of friends at a Greek restaurant. When it got to the Greek dancing/plate smashing bit, I was so sozzled I was chucking plates around a bit wildly and I accidentally hit him on the head with one and he got concussed. So I took him home. I wonder what happened to him?

It's funny how, as far as names go, Robert is sexier than Rob, which is sexier than Robbie, which is sexier than Bob. Bob is just not a sexy name at all. Robert or Rob sounds all swashbuckling, like Robert the Bruce or Rob Roy or something. Bob just sounds like, I dunno, the Church of the Subgenius or something.
