London, Oct. 18, Brixton Academy, Super Furry Animals/Dead Meadow...FAP?

Anyone interested? I actually was hanging around with a couple of the Dead Meadow guys last night and this came up. I admit to being tempted, though I'll have to be up very early the following morning to get to Heathrow. I realize it's the day after the Night of Ruin and so this might be more a Fancy a Juice thing, or even just a bite to eat, but (assuming tickets are available still) would anyone want to come along? If everyone would prefer low key recuperation this is most understandable (and doubtless I will too).

Ha, I actually went to this show - the GLW being friends with one of Dead Meadow. But we didn't get to meet him and left before SFA. Did meet an old chum of the Nipper's though. Remember New Year's Day 1999, Jerry?

I passed it up for Southall and Indian food and all with, among other people, yourself, Mr. "Mango Lassi? What's That?". ;-)

Amazing! (Actually I think I went to three separate Indian spots in London that week, which is of course a good thing.)

Mango Lassi was too smooth and creamy for me but it did inspire me to conceive of MANGO SORBET SLUSH PUPPY as the perfect non-beer curry companion
