mark s (mark s), Thursday, 16 October 2003 11:40 (twenty-two years ago)

Hooray! Enjoy your stay!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Thursday, 16 October 2003 11:44 (twenty-two years ago)

How DO they keep up those accents. Even when falling-over drunk they can still pull it off!

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Thursday, 16 October 2003 11:45 (twenty-two years ago)

What a perfectly sweet thing to say Tracer. How super of you. Top hole old chap.

Anna (Anna), Thursday, 16 October 2003 11:56 (twenty-two years ago)

haha "top hole" ewwwwwwwww, i mean mmmmmmmmmmmm

Speaking of falling-over drunk, tonight has to be a QNI for me too, sadly. The Red Sox have been taking their toll on my sleep.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Thursday, 16 October 2003 11:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Me too. I am spending this evening reading, painting my toenails and (sadly this is true) reorganising my CD collection.

My liver is hurting and I only fancy a curry about once every eight months.

I will see you all tomorrow though.

Anna (Anna), Thursday, 16 October 2003 12:14 (twenty-two years ago)

Glad Daddino got in OK. Now, the UK will truly be in its fabulousness

Nichole Graham (Nichole Graham), Thursday, 16 October 2003 21:25 (twenty-two years ago)

And now I'm back in New York City.

My God, my city's streets...they're so wide.

Michael Daddino (epicharmus), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 03:23 (twenty-two years ago)

Welcome home, nice to be back, isn't it?

Mary (Mary), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 03:46 (twenty-two years ago)

we make our streets look narrower w.mirrors

yay for MD getting home safely, boo for him not being here still

mark s (mark s), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 07:16 (twenty-two years ago)

how are the mirrors positioned? wouldn't mirrors make the streets look wider?!

geeta (geeta), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 07:25 (twenty-two years ago)

aha concave vs convex!!

geeta (geeta), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 07:27 (twenty-two years ago)

the streets we have are wide enough for our cars.

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 07:31 (twenty-two years ago)

we're broader than ealing broadway...

was great to meet the excellent mr daddino at last, and i hope he stops shooting dice in the alleys

stevem (blueski), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 07:56 (twenty-two years ago)

the streets we have are wide enough for our cars.

No, your cars are small enough for your streets!

Michael Daddino (epicharmus), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 09:10 (twenty-two years ago)

Anyway, the time was grand. I was genuinely saddened, no, aggrieved at having to leave on Monday 'cause everything I left behind -- street, every bar, every store, every residence, every monument, every train line, every person, every coin and pound note in my wallet -- was like a Christmas present that had to be left unopened thanks to economy and restraint. And Christmas is not supposed to be about economy and restraint!

Michael Daddino (epicharmus), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 09:21 (twenty-two years ago)

I'll take that statement to mean that you had a good time, yes?

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 09:31 (twenty-two years ago)

I wish everyday could be like Christmas.

Michael Daddino (epicharmus), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 09:41 (twenty-two years ago)

''No, your cars are small enough for your streets!''

small is good.

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 09:46 (twenty-two years ago)

My God, my city's streets...they're so wide.

I was thinking that too when I got home! Everything felt so expansive.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 13:21 (twenty-two years ago)

quit rubbing my nose into your expansiveness

stevem (blueski), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 13:36 (twenty-two years ago)

Eat it boy, EAT IT.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 13:54 (twenty-two years ago)

They've only got that much space steve, because they've got nothing good to fill it with. ;o)

chris (chris), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 14:40 (twenty-two years ago)

Wretch.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 14:44 (twenty-two years ago)

Ned is telling stevem to eat his expansiveness = I clearly need some coffee.

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 14:45 (twenty-two years ago)

It's like chaos theory for sex and food.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 14:45 (twenty-two years ago)

I love this picture! It reminds me of the picture of young MD with Santa Claus, which kind of confirms my suspicion that Ned is the Santa of ILE. I know, I know, Tom has the beard, but it is Ned who has the jolliness.

Nicolars (Nicole), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 15:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Young MD looks like he's crying.

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 15:43 (twenty-two years ago)

(If Ned and Mike don't start a hip-hop group under the names Santa Ned and Young MD I will also cry.)

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 15:43 (twenty-two years ago)

All that they need to do now is release a shoegaze version of Bust A Move.

Nicolars (Nicole), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 15:45 (twenty-two years ago)

You have both made me very happy. :-)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 15:47 (twenty-two years ago)

http://www.epicharmus.com/donteverlookatme.jpg

See? Ned is totally the Santa of that other picture!

Nicolars (Nicole), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 15:55 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah, but that Santa guy has both beard and sideburns, so there is a slight flaw.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 15:59 (twenty-two years ago)

Yours are just invisible, but I know they are there.

Nicolars (Nicole), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 16:02 (twenty-two years ago)

Freshly executed each morn.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 16:08 (twenty-two years ago)

No, Santa shaves his sideburns too, it's just hidden under his white locks.

Casuistry (Chris P), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 16:11 (twenty-two years ago)

Bless 'im.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 16:22 (twenty-two years ago)

Mike has really cool Haiwaiian shirts! I am jealous!

jel -- (jel), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 16:23 (twenty-two years ago)

Reyns.com, baby.
