Have you noticed that your conversations and the way you react to other ppl's comments have become smuttier as a result of associating with certain ppl?

ha ha yes and I can even tell you exactly who although I bet you can guess (a certain ILXor).

funnily enough (even tho I know exactly who you mean) this wasn't prompted by an ilxor but by someone at work who said that I'd become more FILTHAH through association with others in the dept. I see no problem with this in terms of the big picture - I feel proud to maintain a grebt comic tradition - it's just the ph34r that, when in company that *doesn't* appreciate such things, something might SLIP OUT.

Yes absolutely. I admit it. I'm filthah.

It's actually someting I have to clamp down on at work quite a lot, the kitchen staff have all worked together for a long time, are all comfortable with each other and their conversation vies for extremisms, but they often forget that a new waitress doesn't have the benefit of their ease with each other, and can quickly be made to feel uncomfortable. To be fair to them they generally look surprised when I bring it up, then thoughtful, then they stop.

I have a filthah mind, and i know of at least one or two people who delight in it.

I've hung around just friends and not-family for so long, I've thought nothing of the way I speak, letting fly swears all over the shop. I found myself having to really catch myself from expletives when I went to meet my boyfriends parents recently, as I often also have to round my own folks.

Turns out I needn't have bothered, as Nick's dad got soused at the party and swore like a trooper himself. Eh.
