You make it sound so...WRONG, Sundar. Transgress with me in an ocean of electronic delights.

Am currently reading _The Spell_ by Alan Hollinghurst. Not totally joy per se, but enjoyable. I liked _The Swimming-Pool Library_ when I read it all those moons ago.

hey but i *do* have an idea, sundar. internet @ home is a real new thing for me, my own room ditto (1st time in 2 years!), my own stereo & most of my records together in 1 place (also for the 1st time in 2 years), I'm sitting here listening to Brother JT's "Holy Ghost Stories", it's great. also i could walk down the hallway & go in my girlfriend's room & she will be in there with the fire going & probably listening to (99% prob.) The Seeds. Life's great!
i don't know why i told you that. it felt like i was building up to some really mean sarcastic punchline!

Netscape 3 RAWKS!!! I'm still using it, you know. Paul has this super-swish high power computer, and I went and installed Netscape 3 on it for that lovely retro feel.

I have a copy of Netscape 3 because I used to drag it out whenever I needed to look at fancy web pages (or, er, ones with graphics) on my poor old computer. It's a bit too far gone now though, since it doesn't do stylesheets at all and that really fucks up lots of webpages. I think the new version of lynx I use understands more modern web features than Netscape 3 does, and lynx is all-text. Hmph.
