this is my feeble attempt to appeal to some fellow humans...sad story follows.

i JUST found out that one of my best friends was killed in a car accident last night. now, i am not looking for sympathy or fishing for kind words, i'm just BEGGING and PLEADING with you, all of you, going about the daily biz and shooting the shit on the interweb, to take a second and REALLY THINK about your life. think about what's important to you. hold on to what's important to you. put aside your petty shit and just hold on. she and i were in the midst of some silly miff, and she and her boyfriend were on the outs, doing stupid things to hurt each others feelings. both he and i are kicking ourselves for being so ridiculously foolish and now she's not here and we can't ever fix it.

so anyways, please just do what makes you happy, take stock, and remember that the people you love and the people who love you are what makes life good.

This is something that I have given some thought to recently, since I'm finally resolving and finishing with the mess and nastiness that followed the breakdown of my marriage - some of you will know some of what I mean from things I've said here - and able to start looking forward. If the eye troubles hadn't intervened I think I could entirely focus on making the best of things and building positively for a new life.
