"Hitler had the 'right idea'". Makes you feel all warm inside don't it, safe in the knowledge that such a fearless and righteous band of smartly dressed impartial arbiters are ready to step in should the rising of society’s ills call for the swift and thorough distribution of justice and restoration of order.

Not to distract from the horribleness of the story or anything, but as HSA pointed out last night... do you think that's really *intended* as a KKK mask, because to us, it looked like a pillowcase pulled over his head.

I'm not denying he's a racist or anything like that, but the KKK thing seems like a bit of a red herring.

He thinks asians and blacks are scum and would like to bury one under a railway track, he thinks Hitler had the right idea, he wears a white pillowcase on his head with holes for eyes. If the cap fits....

Billy Dods (Billy Dods), Wednesday, 22 October 2003 14:32 (twenty-one years ago)

What, he should get a proper KKK hood mail order???

mark grout (mark grout), Wednesday, 22 October 2003 14:38 (twenty-one years ago)

No, he did make one out of a pillow case after 'fantasising' about being a KKK member through several scenes.

OK, in that case, point taken (having only seen the excerpt and not the whole film).

(What, me, mistrust the BBC these days?)
