Allyzay, Wednesday, 22 October 2003 16:30 (twenty-one years ago)

Hey, that Traitor Hand fully fessed up to missing you when I saw him in London. He knows his folly.

Nichole Graham (Nichole Graham), Wednesday, 22 October 2003 16:33 (twenty-one years ago)

"To rule a country, baby, you and I!!"

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Wednesday, 22 October 2003 16:36 (twenty-one years ago)

Ally, just reading the tracklists to those CDs made me happy. Thanks

BTW, I used to be a huge Manics fan, does the Holy Bible still sound like, well, "a juggernaut"? (This is how I described it to a friend at the time, and they have never let me forget it)

adaml (adaml), Wednesday, 22 October 2003 16:37 (twenty-one years ago)

Done deal, Ally....

Nichole Graham (Nichole Graham), Wednesday, 22 October 2003 16:38 (twenty-one years ago)

Hey, that Traitor Hand fully fessed up to missing you when I saw him in London. He knows his folly.

Awwwwwwwww :) I miss him too! I'm going to have to go to his roomie's new restaurant without him, that's really kind of lame? Maybe I will visit. And then never come back to NYC! haha fuckos.

The Holy Bible still sounds absolutely awesome as far as I'm concerned. I still think "She is Suffering" is a totally naff track and "4st7lb" is kind of pandering but the rest of it is tight even now. The guitar solo in "Faster" is enough to snap your head off and I still haven't mastered the art of singing the chorus to "Archives of Pain" as fast as JDB does. I get happy just hearing "Cool groovy morning fine/Tipper Gore was a friend of mine", it is like anger management to me.

Allyzay, Wednesday, 22 October 2003 16:42 (twenty-one years ago)

Anyway "formerly" nordicskillz adaml I will make you some too since they make you happy? Just everyone must understand that they might not have nice "art" or proper "cases" or anything besides "discs and tracklists". Blame my computer, it is shit.

Allyzay, Wednesday, 22 October 2003 16:44 (twenty-one years ago)

Really? Thanks!

I still think "She is Suffering" is a totally naff track and "4st7lb" is kind of pandering but the rest of it is tight even now

"4st7lb", "Die In The Summertime", and "...whiteamerica..." were my favorites. I had tickets to both of their last two London shows at the Atsoria, but I sold one of them after I went the first night and the crowd were just a bunch of macho assholes who totally ruined everything. Ah well...

adaml (adaml), Wednesday, 22 October 2003 17:04 (twenty-one years ago)

Blame my computer, it is shit.

Ever thought of shooting it, or does NYC have laws against that, too?

Nichole Graham (Nichole Graham), Wednesday, 22 October 2003 17:07 (twenty-one years ago)

yeah, send me yr addy too if you don't mind and I'll send you cds. It will be like Christmas except with crappy homemade gifts and it's actually October.

"ifwhiteamerica" is one of my favorites as well. My favorite song on the album is "Yes" which they never ever do live, oh well. Was the crowd really that bad? That's so unfortunate, I would've loved to have seen them live (every time I buy a ticket to an American show, it gets cancelled for no reason???).

Allyzay, Wednesday, 22 October 2003 18:30 (twenty-one years ago)

Happened to me the one time I got invited to a NYC Manics gig 2 years ago, and bloody Bradfield got laryngitis. Supposedly.

Still think he buggered off to the pub and got plastered.
