I've noticed several ppl on TV making really awful comments about him which go well beyond the kind of jocular derogatory stuff that, say, Morecambe & Wise used to say about Des O'Connor in the 70s. Things like wanting him dead and stuff.

don't they say the same about Iain Lee as well? people are just fed up with mediocre rarely funny uncharismatic TV presenters who don't care what they're presenting as long as they're presenting, it's time to get back to real music with real melodies.

I dunno what he's like 'in real life', maybe he deserves it. I think the public dislike him because he appeared out of nowhere and acts like he's the best thing since sliced coffee. Far too smug for my liking and not all that funny.

He's been around 4 a while - oh shit, that makes sense. I first clocked him inna Isle of Man, which maybe get Nornirn stuff. He clsd with a rendition of 'I fought the law'. I hated him immediately. Mystery.

Because he is just not talented. Gayham Norton has ruined his persona through being squeezed into our living rooms every night and Kielty isn't even as funny as him. His whole chat show is based on his guests taking the piss out of him, which is funny in the case of the Kumars, but when someone has their own show they are supposed to be there for a reason i.e. talent, humour, looks, intelligence, insight. Kielty offers none of these things.
