To my mind, Galloway was a disaster for the anti-war side, and his meeting with Saddam was no less awful than Tony Benn's. It made it easy for the pro-war side to label us a bunch of dupes.
But I'm willing to believe that I've been taken in by a vast conspiracy (and I'm dubious especially about the Telegraph's scoop). So, if you can say something nice about the misnamed Gorgoeus George, do. If not, do anyway.

Is this him calling for a boycott of "Israeli" shops?

Weird that he mentions Milliband before any other British politician other than Brown. Wonder why that is.

That reminds me of the 'Music Sounds Better With You' video a teeny bit.
Who does he mean by 'the Israel shops' at Westfield etc? Only ones I can think of are the Dead Sea Cosmetic stalls, i.e. the guys who got shot in Denmark last week
― Ismael Klata, Sunday, 11 January 2009 18:34 (seventeen years ago)
it's muffled but i *think* he mentions marks and spencer's, a former chairman of which, according to wiki, was a zionist activist.
of course, if people want to boycott 'israel shops', they are simply expressing their democratic rights as consumers.

Yeh, he's Jewish.
I thought that Milliband was one of the few politicos to come out as an atheist. If that's the case his Jewish background's neither here nor there.
― Billy Dods, Sunday, 11 January 2009 21:39 (seventeen years ago)
It's neither here nor there anyway, surely?
― Ismael Klata, Sunday, 11 January 2009 21:45 (seventeen years ago)
yeah, antisemitism is only aimed at religious jews.
