a classic of internet forum pol flamewar lunacy. if the poster is "left" it always leads to some barmy conspiracy theorist site, if they are "right" (it more commonly is with this one, i have found) it always leads to someone like ann c0ulter's site, or fucking news max or something. It always makes me laugh a bit. Apropos of nothing, as usual.

I wasn't referring to anything you said/posted enrique, what made me thing of this was reading this:

(to be fair, though the article does appear to me to be somewhat biased & wrong, the debate that follows it is interesting in parts)

& it reminded me of two other times I've seen this statement or similar ones recently:

1/leftwinger links to essay on website which appears to support his argument. OH NO! someone else checks the rest of the site, which is deranged anti-semite mania for the most part. The original poster was not even aware of this!!

2/rightwinger links to news max site in support of his pro-iraq war argument - see here! this picture of the latest russian jet fighter being dug out of the desert! OH NO!! amazing pics to be sure, but of a mig-25 foxbat (designed 1968) without wings & obviously in very poor condition!
