after the rumsfeld memo leak (closest we've come to a pentagon papers moment this go-round), the white house needs a scapegoat (still playing 'delay delay delay' on the plame affair)(so either it was someone high up or they're so fucking arrogant they'll let the whole ship go down with the rat) - why not blame the agency who's advice you ignored pre- and post-war (in favor of brit and italian intelligence)(real smart): two birds, one stone!
