Wrapples were basically Fruit Roll Ups except they were caramel.
You took a Wrapple, wrapped it around an apple, put it in the oven, and voila, you had a caramel apple without the mess of heating up caramels and dipping and such.
Are Wrapples still available?
My memory is that eating them "raw" like a fruit rollup had comparatively diminished returns.
