Steve Moore - classic or dud

He is a respected oldarse British comics writer.

classic: Father Shandor (in Warrior), a camp classic about a tortured demon hunting priest

dud: Jonni Future (in Tom Stron's Terrific Tales), a lame story about some woman in a tight costume who has adventures.

he may or may not have pseudonymously written the good Axel Pressbutton stories - and I think unraveling this question once and for all will determine whether he is indeed Classic, or Dud.

A pleasant enough bloke, but Ican't say that I greatly cared for any of his work.

Not sure why you single Jonni Future out for hating. The storys are lame in much the same way that Tom Strong stories are often lame.. they're all about the set up the background and the clever characters, plot is minimal nd really not the point. Its like coming up with the interesting background you get on pages 1-2 and 23-24 and glossing over pages 3-22 (they fight).

Yes, but those are the only Tom Stong stories that Steve Moore wrote. Also the art is clearly a depiction of a exceptionally shapely woman, an area where the Dirty Vicar has never quite lived up to his name :)

are you calling my bird a munter?

No, I'm pointing out that you don't like cheesecake art. A stance I entirely agree with - it's one of the reasons why I don't like Jonni Future so much either.

Shame about your bird, though.
