She used to be beautiful, now she's reached that special time in a woman's life when:

1) she looks like a male female-impersonator dressed up like Jerry Hall
2) she's 47
3) she's modeling for H&M when she'd never have worn H&M
4) she looks absolutely tawdry in all the print, poster, and TV ads
5) she's become a tragic figure trying to hold on to a gilded past

1) Is this ad campaign just in Europe or in the U.S. too?
2) Do they have H&M in the U.S.?
3) Shouldn't tired old has-been-never-was-beens like J.H. be barred from advertising?

When you see them 50 feet tall, they look tragic. Her face appears to have kept growing, but unevenly and in different directions. Something about them is very troubling. And the tv commercials are sad too. She talks.

I think Jerry Hall rocks! She looks just as nice as she's looked the past fifteen years or so! If I can look that nice when I'm in my late 40s, I will whoop and holler and celebrate.

I am rather suprised by all the Jerry-love here, but don't worry, felicity, my thread's feelings aren't hurt. I've always rather liked Jerry. And granted, these pics on the small screen don't look as bad as the really big ones do. I insist, however, that there's a kind of Bette-Davis-after-the-first-stroke desperation to the campaign.
