Who cares about the crappy football league? AFC Wimbledon, 13 wins in 13 games in the league. You Dons!

Mark C (Mark C), Thursday, 30 October 2003 10:06 (twenty-two years ago)

Harvey plays for AFC Wimbledon, I guess that's mildly diverting news.

Incidentally, Dave B, any idea why the BBC interviewed me before the game last night? I didn't half bang on, but I'd like to know if I'm going to be on telly.

Mark C (Mark C), Thursday, 30 October 2003 10:15 (twenty-two years ago)

Ooh, you meejar tart. There's only room for one tart at AFCW. I have no idea TBH; was it BBC Lahndahn?

Dave B (daveb), Thursday, 30 October 2003 10:32 (twenty-two years ago)

Well, they didn't interview me in cockney, so I couldn't tell. The girl interviewing stumbled over her words and didn't bother re-fliming, so it's probably local. They asked me about So Solid Crew, though, so maybe I'm going to be on Swop Shop (or whatever the yooth watch on a saturday morning these days).

Man City-Wolves final, which City win on pens after a 3-3 thriller.

Michael Jones (MichaelJ), Thursday, 30 October 2003 11:38 (twenty-two years ago)

i hope Harvey's a better footballer than he is a presenter and pop star

stevem (blueski), Thursday, 30 October 2003 11:46 (twenty-two years ago)

He is. Accomplished debut on Saturday; bit hesitant first half, second half he was bombing forward like a regular Ashley Cole and linking up well with Ryan Gray on the left-wing. And he wears white boots with red laces. That's a lot of balls there.

Dave B (daveb), Thursday, 30 October 2003 11:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Man City in the final? No!!!!

the pinefox, Saturday, 1 November 2003 11:57 (twenty-two years ago)

Is he as good as the guy from Blue who used to play for Stoke City?
