No, they were unrelated - the Andrew Scott one was from the Chart Magazine with the 4 separate covers, where they all dressed up in various costumes from Canadian military history, i.e. Mountie, Sailor, etc. While the Alex James one was for an article that The Idler did about flying.

Because my boss says he's coming in soon which means that he'll either be in a few hours from now and I'll have to work like hell as he sits at his desk, or he'll never come in. Either way, I have to live it up now.

Oh yeah, also because I have to call this lady and get her to sign a bunch of stuff over FAX for me and I think she'll be annoyed.

Because I'm supposed to write 2,000 words today and I don't want to today. Because I'm supposed to walk for half an hour a day and I don't want to today. Because I'm supposed to go out later to a volunteer job and I don't want to. So I'm trying to decide if the drive back down from Leitrim has injured my always bad back, or if I just generally don't feel well and can justify a nap.

because I have 10,000 boring words about pension plans to translate from Dutch and I stayed up too late last night and wanted to sleep in but the baby woke up crying too loudly so though it was dada's turn to get up with the baby I woke up too and now I'm cranky. waaah.

i wonder if transit of venus can have some effect on moods like mercury in retrograde - feeling disgustingly whingy today.

I am procrastinating about "going home". Because it's not my home, it's his home and I'm welcome no more, la dee daaah, der doooooh... At the moment I'm really enjoying Hackney (not to mention broadband and cable, even though no one else is up at this time of the day to talk to me) and I don't want to go back to Central London. Maybe I should feed the cat some more. I wonder what time Primark opens, if I can go back and buy some more clothes.

There's too much sport to watch today and for the next few weeks, so I guess all important life altering decisions can wait. Plus, I can't decide whether I should start The Temple of Dawn or Growth of the Soil or Crime and Punishment. Jersey Girl is out next week, I'm excited about that - seriously.
