..especially when it comes to weather. It's the word that solely describes what i like about late fall/winter-y weather (as it applies to people in the northern hemisphere). It implies a sky with a large depth of baby blue, a bright sun, dryer than normal, and temperates slightly below or above freezing. I sweat a lot, but this type of weather allows me to escape from my sweat for a while. I love living in a York Peppermint Patty wonderland for moments at a time.

yeah, getting the occasional snow up here isn't odd, it's that we're getting it in the fall that's very unusual. this three weeks after record head, two weeks after record rainfall for a single day, and then right after record cold temperatures (for the day). it's like we're borrowing mid-west or east coast weather for a week or something.
