Assuming that we are all sober now, any thoughts on the costumes seen friday night?

I saw a Santa Claus with a 3 foot inflatable dong, strung with christmas lighst as Evel Knievel ran into him on a mini-bike in Baltimore at midnight. Beat that shit.

i didn't see many costumes that were that great, actually. one girl claimed she was daphne from scooby doo, but was wearing a red and white kilt. what the heck? doesn't she know daphne always wears purple?

i was a 'scary nun' with my wimple and vampire fangs and blood oozing out of my mouth. i think i freaked out people on the tube, which is a good thing.

colette (a2lette), Monday, 3 November 2003 13:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Beat that shit.

Kid dressed up as Elliot Smith, complete with knife sticking out of his chest.

Allyzay, Monday, 3 November 2003 14:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Shit beaten.

This guy Travis whose band The M1ddl3 F0rk I had the pleasure of seeing/opening for Friday night, was not just dressed in drag, but in amazing drag, shaved legs nice wig & all PLUS little black angel wings, a straight-up Victoria Secret angel or something. He makes a ridiculously hot woman.

The guy dressed as the Year 2000 skit from Conan O'Brien was cool too.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Monday, 3 November 2003 14:50 (twenty-two years ago)

My room mate wanted to dress up as Roy, but we couldnt find a stuffed tiger to strap to his back.

Spinktor the Unmerciful (mawill5), Monday, 3 November 2003 15:23 (twenty-two years ago)

You've never heard of the Disney store? They have about 800,000 stuffed tigers to choose from.

Allyzay, Monday, 3 November 2003 15:24 (twenty-two years ago)

Honestly it wasnt that we couldnt find one, its that we are lazy...lack anything that resembles motivation. Thats the sad truth.

Spinktor the Unmerciful (mawill5), Monday, 3 November 2003 15:28 (twenty-two years ago)

two headed costume of Roy & a white tiger on his back. The White Tiger contained the head of the guy wearing the costume. The tiger also had on sunglasses, as did Roy, so you couldn't really tell which was which.

seeing a tiger chug beer thru its felt snout was something, tho.

Kingfish (Kingfish), Monday, 3 November 2003 15:32 (twenty-two years ago)

Y'all shoulda been in NYC cos I actually have a giant Tigger that would've suited these purposes spectacularly.

Allyzay, Monday, 3 November 2003 15:32 (twenty-two years ago)

I dressed up as an arab with an Arafat-style head ornament and aviator shades...i got a lot of dirty looks.

Spinktor the Unmerciful (mawill5), Monday, 3 November 2003 15:40 (twenty-two years ago)

I was dressed as a ninja but like 10 people were like "dude, are you a terrorist? that shit ain't funny" and I'm like "look you dumbass, what kind of terrorist carries a katana?".

nickalicious (nickalicious), Monday, 3 November 2003 15:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Whats funny is that while i was sitting outside of a bar, extremely drunk...some dude comes up to me wearing a uniform from US Air. He opens up his jacket revealing dynamite wrapped around his chest. Aparently i needed to see this, as i was an arab for the night. I found it humorous at the time...hell, its still funny.....what the fuck was i thinking analyzing his ethics?!

Spinktor the Unmerciful (mawill5), Monday, 3 November 2003 15:48 (twenty-two years ago)

Some dude dressed up as the Lone Ranger saddled up to felicity and I while we were taking a photograph. He seemingly didn't realize that Tom even existed? He just slid on in and wouldn't leave us alone. The funny part of this story was that he asked felicity and I if we were meant to both be schoolgirls going to school together.

felicity was dressed as Go Go from Kill Bill and I was dressed as a lumberjack complete with a flannel and huge furry hat. I am not really sure what school he believed we all went to?

Tom got a bit stroppy with the guy but he didn't seem to catch on to his unwelcomeness until felicity started swinging her mace in his direction.

Allyzay, Monday, 3 November 2003 16:40 (twenty-two years ago)

Haha also some elderly gentleman on his stoop yelled at Tom, "Any time I see a gentleman walking around with two fine ladies I know he is having a good night" and we also found a pigeon who was a total asshole. This Halloween was exciting but I kind of regret not dressing as The Bride and doing battle with felicity outside Potion Lounge.

Allyzay, Monday, 3 November 2003 16:42 (twenty-two years ago)

completely naked girl painted completely blue.

dyson (dyson), Monday, 3 November 2003 16:45 (twenty-two years ago)

a pigeon? like the bird? or the squealer? or the bad gambler?

teeny (teeny), Monday, 3 November 2003 16:46 (twenty-two years ago)

Yes, a bird. He didn't understand the concept of walking.

Allyzay, Monday, 3 November 2003 17:02 (twenty-two years ago)

punt that shit, yo.

Kingfish (Kingfish), Monday, 3 November 2003 17:04 (twenty-two years ago)

The funny part of this story was that he asked felicity and I if we were meant to both be schoolgirls going to school together.

Maybe it was the guy from Peter's in May who asked us (standing around in our soccer socks, soccer shorts and shinguards) "Were you playing soccer?"

felicity (felicity), Monday, 3 November 2003 21:21 (twenty-two years ago)

Anyway, my favorite costumes were the faux Hilton Sisters in their totally trash-ola Hamptons shades, blond wigs, cut-off jeans skirts, Canal Street Murakami LV bags and pashminalikes. I am going to try this but not for Halloween.

felicity (felicity), Monday, 3 November 2003 21:27 (twenty-two years ago)

Felicity's was my favorite! Those guys outside Potion wouldn't shut up about it either and I couldn't blame them. Where the hell was Phil? He was supposed to be a Crazy 88!!

My other favorite was the girl in the red flannel and the furry bomber hat with the suede boots. She was hot.

TOMBOT, Monday, 3 November 2003 22:45 (twenty-two years ago)

u r so gay.

I think felicity is right, that guy was the aggressive anti-soccer fuck from Peter's. "What were you, playing soccer?" No, we just dress like this, you ass.

Allyzay, Monday, 3 November 2003 22:49 (twenty-two years ago)

there was this beautiful tron couple (in homemade costumes) making out on the dance floor, I had such a crush on them

s1utsky (slutsky), Monday, 3 November 2003 22:49 (twenty-two years ago)

s1utsky (slutsky), Monday, 3 November 2003 23:13 (twenty-two years ago)

strongo hulkington's ghost (dubplatestyle), Monday, 3 November 2003 23:15 (twenty-two years ago)

I ended up in a gay bar at 1am; the costumes were amazing.

Nick Southall (Nick Southall), Monday, 3 November 2003 23:18 (twenty-two years ago)

on sunday night i saw a man dressed in a cow suit, complete with udders, standing with 2 suited office workers in a sterile business type pub. he then came out to speak to some people outside, then he went back in, this was in central business district. i dont believe it was connected to halloween

gardendistrictlido (gareth), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 00:05 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh, yeah, I got one. It was Nov 1 actually, nighttime, Halloween parties apparently still happening around town. Was getting on I-95 from Providence RI and this was one of those lovely RI highway entrances where you get about 15 feet to merge into speeding traffic. So I had to slam on the brakes to wait for a car to go by, and heard a REALLY loud & odd-sounding honk.

I soon realized that the loud honk came from a 30s roadster with the top down, speeding up I-95 toward Massachusetts. In the driver's seat was a guy in a clown costume & rainbow wig. Sitting next to him was another guy dressed as the devil. It was cool.

daria g (daria g), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 00:14 (twenty-two years ago)

heh. apparently, somebody else liked my costume, too.

Kingfish (Kingfish), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 00:18 (twenty-two years ago)

i had the most ghetto costume. I went to a "come as a dead person, place or thing" party. I put on a Clash shirt with boots and short skirt and wrapped my very festive orange and black jumper cables all around my waist and neck and clipped them to my skirt and shirt.

I was ELECTROCLASH.

Carey (Carey), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 00:39 (twenty-two years ago)

I was thinkin' Madame Spungen, but what's more scary than standing for an idea, rather than your usual vamp or witch?

I had to hide out, as my pockets squeaked too loud to afford candy.

Nichole Graham (Nichole Graham), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 00:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Hopefully felicity doesn't mind this--I will remove if you do!! I still haven't gotten my personal picture disc back.
