Bryan no doubt already knows about this (and that the Riders kicked some bomber ass last night!)

WINNIPEG (CP) - Troy
Westwood isn't worried about
suffering any backlash from two
insults he directed at
Saskatchewan Roughriders fans.

In August, the Winnipeg Blue
Bombers kicker ruffled feathers
in Regina by referring to the
people of Saskatchewan as "a
bunch of banjo-picking inbreds."

On Friday, Westwood
apologized. Well, sort of.

"I had referred to the people of
Saskatchewan as a bunch of
banjo-picking inbreds (earlier this season)," Westwood said. "I was wrong to make
such a statement and I'd like to apologize.

"The vast majority of the people in Saskatchewan have no idea how to play the
banjo."

He's gonna be picking garbage in the ditches along the perimeter highway soon so I'm not too worried about him. That's a funny joke, though. I hope it keeps him warm while he watches the Riders pound the piss out of the Esks next weekend.

A heard an even funnier yet unrelated joke last night, something Ed the Sock said while doing his Karnak routine. He held the little envelope up to his forehead and said "come hell or high water" then opened it and it said "three things you don't want to be up to your neck in". HA HA HA!!!!

Bryan (Bryan), Monday, 3 November 2003 21:11 (twenty-one years ago)

nice

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Monday, 3 November 2003 21:12 (twenty-one years ago)

Yes, I'm inbred. 'A' should be 'I' but pronounced 'Ah'.

Bryan (Bryan), Monday, 3 November 2003 21:12 (twenty-one years ago)

plus I think that there are maybe, MAYBE two guys who play for the Riders who are from here.

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Monday, 3 November 2003 21:14 (twenty-one years ago)

It may be hard to believe, but much like Royal Air Farce, Ed The Sock was actually funny before he made national TV.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Monday, 3 November 2003 21:16 (twenty-one years ago)

That's what I said to some of the LOOOZER BOMBER FANS here this morning. I'm just glad no one kicked my ass.

Ed the Sock's funny NOW!

Bryan (Bryan), Monday, 3 November 2003 21:17 (twenty-one years ago)

By Funny you mean it has leash free puppies on display in a hot tub?

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Monday, 3 November 2003 21:19 (twenty-one years ago)

Actually all I really get to see of him is when he's on MM (a lone bright spot). His City show is kinda sad though it's funny when he shakes violently when around the porn stars.

Bryan (Bryan), Monday, 3 November 2003 21:21 (twenty-one years ago)

Chris doesn't have to say so, but I was really hoping this thread would be about how cool I am. Why the hell would I think someone would make something up like that? Idiot. Chris may be my doppelganger but he's surely earned his own thread by now!

Bryan (Bryan), Monday, 3 November 2003 21:23 (twenty-one years ago)

Bryan is cool. His lentils are very buttery.

Jodi (Celerina), Monday, 3 November 2003 22:28 (twenty-one years ago)

Hello!

Casuistry (Chris P), Monday, 3 November 2003 22:33 (twenty-one years ago)

Wait, though, I want to know more about this SK election.

Casuistry (Chris P), Monday, 3 November 2003 22:34 (twenty-one years ago)

I mean my love of SK doesn't make up for my disinterest in football. Go Riders, I guess. Also, go Cubs. Oh, wait, too late.

Casuistry (Chris P), Monday, 3 November 2003 22:34 (twenty-one years ago)

My god JODI! Leave Byran's buttery lentils alone!

danielle g. (danielle g.), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 04:52 (twenty-one years ago)

Jesus. I can't believe it took that long for someone to make a joke about that!

Bryan (Bryan), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 04:53 (twenty-one years ago)

Sorry, I have been busy.

danielle g. (danielle g.), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 04:53 (twenty-one years ago)

It wasn't just up to you, danielle! I guess they saw my name on it and that was reason enough to stay away.

Bryan (Bryan), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 04:54 (twenty-one years ago)

I

Worried

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 04:59 (twenty-one years ago)

Bryan, why are your lentils buttery?

danielle g. (danielle g.), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 05:01 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm guessing it's all the butter.

Casuistry (Chris P), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 05:01 (twenty-one years ago)

Well, I put a whole bunch of butter in 'em, damielle (x-post). Actually, it's like an Indian dal with a cumin and garlic butter added to it. I put lots of butter because butter's good for you. Can't be bothered to use or make ghee even though it would probably be better (or more authentic) that way.

Please don't worry, Noodles. No point in that.

Bryan (Bryan), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 05:05 (twenty-one years ago)

damielle!

Bryan (Bryan), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 05:05 (twenty-one years ago)

damielle?

damielle g. (danielle g.), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 05:07 (twenty-one years ago)

spelling error in previous post.

Bryan (Bryan), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 05:19 (twenty-one years ago)

mmmmmmmmmmm, ghee.
mmmmmmmmmmm, dal.
I can't make dal :(

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 05:23 (twenty-one years ago)

It's not hard at all. Maybe I'll show you when I next get to Toranna.

Bryan (Bryan), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 05:26 (twenty-one years ago)

I try and I try but it just always comes out too watery.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 05:59 (twenty-one years ago)

I'll fix you up. Then we'll make the tadka and do a little dance and tell stories about the poo eating pigs.

Bryan (Bryan), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 06:02 (twenty-one years ago)

Someday I will understand Canadianese.

Casuistry (Chris P), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 06:43 (twenty-one years ago)
