I once heard that during the summer or early fall of 1967, the first person to burn a bra was a victim of violence that was sent clothing. A dress, a bra and underwear. She gave the dress back inside a courtroom. When one of her assaulters mentioned that her bra and underwear were from him, she took off the bra and burnt it. Is this story true? I imagine you live in Montreal. Are you a reporter?
