Your IL Methodology

I have just realized that I tend to read the most recent post on a thread I haven't seen, and then read the rest backwards. I'm not sure why I do this.

How do you read/browse ILX?

Also:

"Oh man, am I getting mocked by the lowercase brigade for not using proper accent marks?

what are the motivations for this gareth/jess/blount lower-case business? i like it though, tres laissex faire...

I do it mostly when I'm tired or distracted, which seems to coincide with time spent reading ILX these days for me.

whoops that should be "laissez faire". freudian slip.

i'll look at threads i was previously reading first, then new ones, then the ones with hella new answers

I look for NSFW ones first, then go jerk off onto the other ones.

I chat in lowercase, but I post with as proper grammar and punctuation as I can muster.

i tend not to read any of it & then if i talk to anybody that does read it (doesnt happen much) i say "you still read that shit, fuckin' why, man it's boring, does jess harvell still post", etc.

1. Bring up new answers
2. Scroll down to find where I was last up to.
3. Go from the bottom upwards, opening any with new answers in which I'm interested in a new window. Open two at a time, to give one time to load while reading the previous one. More than two if there is a pic-heavy thread that needs more time.
4. Once I've reached the top, refresh and repeat.

I am occasionally more urgently interested in a particular thread, and might keep it open and refresh it periodically, but this is rare.
