A few years back, I got drunk and agreed to hang out with some people that I really shouldn't have. I ended up getting beat up and robbed. Soon everybody found out. I couldn't even go out anymore without running into someone who knew about it or would talk about to someone else. How can I get over this?

Why shouldn't you go out? Are you embarassed that happened to you? Perhaps you need new friends?
