But it remains to be seen if a satisfying dinner will help ease the pandas' perennial reluctance at the mating game.

How the world hasn't figured out that Giant Pandas are intentionally driving themselves to extinction I don't know. Perhaps they're just not feasible animals any more.

what is that big hole there on the panda's stomach in the first picture? surely that's not for excretory purposes or a navel? ??

they look like humans dressed as pandas if you look really close (especially the one on the left in the double pic).
phil, you were cheated.

penelope (penelope), Monday, 10 November 2003 21:44 (twenty-two years ago)

OK!OK! so i took these on halloween.

phil-two (phil-two), Monday, 10 November 2003 21:46 (twenty-two years ago)

they frighten me a little bit actually (in the picture stevem posted THAT IS A HUMAN EYE). but their ears look like small black furry pom-poms. so that's ok.

penelope (penelope), Monday, 10 November 2003 21:47 (twenty-two years ago)

the first panda has that classic panda "the FUCK you lookin' at?!" look on its panda face.

Jay Dee Sah Mon (Kingfish), Monday, 10 November 2003 21:53 (twenty-two years ago)

it looks like it was caught doing bad things and quickly covered itself up

They've got more vitamins and more fibre than the steamed bread that's been a staple up to now

Next time I get constipated, I might try one of these.

L(E^24) (Leee), Monday, 10 November 2003 22:43 (twenty-two years ago)

what is that big hole there on the panda's stomach in the first picture? surely that's not for excretory purposes or a navel? ??

I believe it's a pouch that's similar to marsupials's pouches wherein the adult can protect their underdeveloped young.

L(E^24) (Leee), Monday, 10 November 2003 22:45 (twenty-two years ago)

WTF is up with the steamed bread? The things eat bamboo in the wild, they get into zoos and people say, let's give them, I dunno...how about some steamed bread? That's a fuck of a lot like bamboo.

Marcel Post (Marcel Post), Monday, 10 November 2003 22:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Communism in action!

L(E^24) (Leee), Monday, 10 November 2003 22:54 (twenty-two years ago)

They probably came up with the steamed bread idea only after the panda had rejected fried pork chops and Mars Bars.

Marcel Post (Marcel Post), Monday, 10 November 2003 22:57 (twenty-two years ago)

who the fuck dont want pork chops?

phil-two (phil-two), Monday, 10 November 2003 22:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Well, yeah. That's why they're endangered, I guess. The pork chop-denying gene is not optimal for survival in today's tasty world.
